All we need now is a camp Doctor Smith turning up..."danger will robinson, danger!"
Cool scene
Robbie the Robot was most known for his initial appearance in the classic sci-fi movie "The Forbidden Planet". The female character is Lt. Gay Ellis portrayed by Gabrielle Drake on a british sci-fi series UFO in command of Shadow Moonbase. I thought I would do a "crossover" fantasy depicting two characters from two sci-fi films that never actually appeared together. To put this scene together I used DM's White Collection for the environment, I used AI to turn an image of Robbie the Robot into a 3D textured model, I used Daz Face Transfer to copy Gabrielle Drake's face to a G8 figure (along with some manual editing of the texture to get rid of some impurities), for her costume I used Elite DZ bodysuit along with some modified textures of a Poser UFO character costume and Keony's Ulrica Boots and Sci-Fi hair (forget who created that). The belt worn by Lt. Ellis I made by editing an image of a 3D figurine someone posted (I believe it's some Asian based company that sold them) to remove everything but the belt then used AI Meshy to turn it into a 3D model where I proceeded to UVMap it to take metallic textures better."danger will robinson, danger!"
Cool scene
The cast member robot never really had a name (everyone just called him "Robot"). Robbie appeared on only one episode which is the most rewatched episode the series had and was called "War of the Robots".
Not the mandela effect, just me seeing all robots the same. Is this R2D2??
Well I'm glad I purchased it back in the day when I did, lots of great items have been pulled.Wellll.. The hair is by EdArt3d who used to have a store on Renderocity but it looks like he pulled it. He has a few items on Renderotica but not the hair, nor his gynoid series
It's a shame, he had some great sci-fi stuff
I created a 3D model (using AI) of Dr. Smith. I'll share a test render tomorrow. All we need now is a camp Doctor Smith turning up...
What you are doing with model creation with AI would be really good to put under Links and Resources or Tools and Tips if you have the time. I posted an AI posing tool I am using under Links and Resources the other week. I'd be interested in reading about it.Well I'm glad I purchased it back in the day when I did, lots of great items have been pulled.

Some day I shall do that. I've used the app enough times to justify paying for a monthly subscription that gives me limited number of uses per month based on a point system. One of the things I created was something I found difficult to find or make through conventional 3D modeling was a Catmobile. Catwoman's car never appeared on the Batman series (the Jokermobile did) and as far as I know ONLY appeared in comic books. I believe there was a toy that was sold of it and a posted photo of it was what I was able to use for the AI program to create a fully textured replica of it. A couple of failurs the AI program I attmpted were of the "Lustomatic" machine used in one of the "Adventures of O-Girl" videos. I also attempted to have it create the black and red bondage rack used in another of the Bondage Cafe videos and ended up modeling my own (it appears in a post I created here in a tribute to Emily Marylinn). What you are doing with model creation with AI would be really good to put under Links and Resources or Tools and Tips if you have the time. I had to ask...
