Did everyone except me know this was a thing? I could've been using it years ago!

Registration is now open. It usually takes me a couple of hours or less to validate accouts. If you are coming over from VoD or DR and use the same user name I'll give you Adult access automatically. Anybody else I will contact by DM about Adult access. NOTE I do have spam account creation testing on, but some spam accounts do get through and I check all manually before giving them access. If you create an account where the user name is a series of random letters, the email address is another series of random letters and numbers and is gmail, and the IP you are creating the account from is a VPN address noted for spam, it is going to be rejected without apology.

As usual Riversoft was all over this in 2021 with Camera Cutaway which mentions a lot of the same details as the video. So at least one other person knew about it 
It's part of this bundle that automates a number of other useful items about cameras. As usual with scripts, it doesn't do anything you can't set up yourself, but it's really useful for automating the tasks as well as providing a good working background on how to do it yourself.

Oh yea, they work really nice. Love section planes. I use them all the time when doing renders. A few artists have them, My favorite is by Paper Tiger, he makes one called X ray camera

It's interesting when you shoot a scene with a cutaway camera and view it through a non-cutaway camera. You can see exactly how the cut lines run in the building.
