I wonder why there isn't any discussion about building the new power plants that will be needed to power all those data centers. Oh wait
Yeah, they are talking about it, but I don't see much discussion about how much it is going to raise electricity bills for everyone, raising the issue that the memory chip problem may not be the biggest one for us in 2026.
But on the bright side, if the AI boom collapses there will be plenty of power for electric vehicles.

Funny, i got to drive a cybertruck last week and while I don't care for the exterior, it was pretty freakin sweet inside. I wouldn't mind owning a tesla if it was a hybrid (EV and gas), but sadly that isn't a thing. On a whim, I looked up charging stations is my area since I had never even seen one while driving around and to my surprise, there were like 20 in a 5 mile radios, crazy.Badwolf666

That sucks. My electric bill each month averages around $250, but this month is was only $85, WOOHOO!
